Thika Primrose School has adopted Kenya's new 2-6-3-3-3 education curriculum based on the Basic Education Curriculum Framework (BECF) developed by the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD). This sustainable visionary curriculum provides students with competency-based high quality education delivered by our dedicated and highly qualified professional teachers.
Thika Primrose School maintains academic excellence by upholding a small teacher-student ratio, thus ensuring that each student gets the attention they require in order to excel. The school also strives to maintain a close teacher-parent relationship and encourages parents to take an active supportive role in the student's education.
Implementation of the new curriculum is ongoing in pre-primary and lower primary. We will roll out the curriculum in upper primary in 2019 and lower secondary in 2020.
